The St. Louis Cardinals have been kind enough to offer us the opportunity to Fundraise through group tickets sales. I need to gauge interest in the STL area before I agree to the event. We would need to sell a minimum of 75 tickets at $30 for a home game of our choice.

If you know of a group, school, business, or organization that might be interested in splitting the fundraising efforts, we would love to talk to them. Thanks everyone and see you at the game.

PS.
If we sell 300 tickets we get a pre-game on field tour (which we'll auction to raise funds)
If we sell 500 tickets we get an honorary first pitch (which we'll auction to raise funds)

STUDY2PLAY

Purpose:
The purpose of our organization is to aid existing educational programs or schools run by our PARTNERS in underprivileged neighborhoods and slums (favelas). We provide this help through supplying new/used sports equipment for teams made up of children of all ages. The equipment would be provided based upon the children involved in the existing educational programs meeting a set of criteria agreed upon between STUDY2PLAY and our PARTNER school or organization.

Vision:
To promote the educational goals of our PARTNERS schools and organizations running programs for impoverished children living in impoverished neighborhoods and slums (favelas), while promoting unity and self-assurance through team sports.

Mission:
To provide the appropriate sporting gear and equipment which will aid children to succeed on the field of play and apply the lessons learned in team activities towards their education and further on into life.

Strategy:
STUDY2PLAY is seeking to be a link between US based clubs and Brazilian schools or organizations fielding sports teams. In effect the US teams will be partnered with Brazilian teams as sister and brother clubs. Sports equipment and gear from the USA will have valuable, educational conditions attached focusing on the root causes of poverty and ways of overcoming these barriers.

This pivotal link will help ensure the student/athlete will have the best opportunities to learn a variety of tools enabling them to work their way out of poverty and lead the life they wish to.

Regulations:
Children who will receive equipment from STUDY2PLAY must uphold several academic criteria agreed upon by STUDY2PLAY and the PARTNER Organization. Including, but not limited to;
• Satisfactory Class attendance, as established by PARTNER’s Academic standards
• Satisfactory Grades based upon PARTNER’s Academic Standards
• Conduct themselves in an appropriate manner while in the classroom or on the pitch
• Refrain from any illegal activity or incidents involving authorities

Regulamento:

Administration:
School or Organization PARTNER officials will be responsible for ensuring that all regulations and requirements are being met by students, with the knowledge that those who fail to uphold the agreement can be stripped of their equipment and privilege of playing on the sports team.

Distribution of Equipment:
The onsite manager, established by the PARTNER, will oversee the distribution of good to students who meet the above criteria. There will be no special consideration or prejudice when distributing equipment as all materials will be deemed to be in satisfactory condition before being shipped.

Distribuição do Equipamento:

Collection of Equipment:
STUDY2PLAY members in the United States will be responsible for STUDY2PLAY’s promotional efforts, including contacting a variety of professional and recreational soccer clubs, businesses, manufactures, etc. willing to donate equipment, time, or money to help further our goals.

Collection will occur monthly and will be shipped to Brazil as time and supplies allow. STUDY2PLAY members in the US are responsible for the maintenance, transporting, security, and integrity of all equipment donated prior to shipping, while PARTNERS will assume these responsibilities, with the aid of STUDY2PLAY members based in Brazil, once the equipment arrives in Brazil.
